How to Contour like a Pro

Ever wonder how some people just seem to have the best bone structure ever?

Well..same, and that supermodel look to be specific!

I’m here to give you hope and let you know it’s not all in their genes or other things…if you know what I mean.

Thankfully all of us can have those “effortless” cat eyes, sculpted cheeks and perfect nose with some quick pin pointed contour!

If you’re going to attempt this my first suggestion is to use a cream contour. Trust me, it will make this process much more pain free and will quickly become your go- to contour process. Ok now that you’ve got that cream contour ready, get ready to turn into a warrior with your paint. I put my foundation and eyebrows on before this step, so once that is complete I begin the strategy.

You’re going to place a swipe just about your cheekbones, the top of your forehead, under the chin and jawline, along each side of your nose all the way to your brows and the tip, and now the most important step, from the outer corner of your eye all the way up to your temple. Make sure you place the cheek and the eye/temple contour at the same angle. The placement is what makes the look, so you want to make sure to keep it intact through the blending process. To make this easier, I use a flat contour brush.

The contour placement is how you get that effortless lifted look. You want to make sure to follow up with some powder bronzer/contour as well to set it in place, but once you’ve got the placement down the rest is up to your liking. Happy catfishing! ;)
